Sean has been an entrepreneur and CEO in the renewables and energy efficiency construction space since 2008. Since founding Cal Solar Inc, Sean has executed $150MM in such projects and has led the company through continuous exponential growth while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality.
Jason brings over 20 years of experience delivering diverse & large-scale projects in the construction industry to Cal Solar, where he is responsible for overseeing all facets of the fully integrated business. Jason plays a pivotal role in collaborating with stakeholders, streamlining business operations, and providing innovative solutions to unite efforts and scale the business while delivering successful outcomes for our clients and the company.
Matt is a licensed General(B), Electrical(C-10), & Solar(C-46) contractor in the State of California. He oversees all of Cal Solar Inc.’s construction efforts and has been responsible for the construction of over 1000 renewable energy projects throughout California since 2010.
Dawn has been a specialty contractor accountant in a senior management position since 2002. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy. As a member of senior management, Dawn is responsible for all financial aspects of Cal Solar Inc. operations, including audit oversight, banking relationships, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, monthly financial statements, and cash flows.
Will is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California and has been in the renewable energy construction space since 2009. Will oversees a team of 10 in-house design engineers. Under Will’s oversight, Cal Solar Inc. has overseen over 600 engineered plansets and garnered approval from over 100 AHJs in California.
Jay has been in Electrical Construction Project Management for over 30 years and has been a Professional Project Manager (PMP) for more than half of that time. Jay works with the Project Manager/Project Coordinator Teams as well as the Contracts Team to ensure budgets, scopes and schedules are met.
Kris leads the Strategic Sales and Marketing efforts with over 12 years of diverse experience in renewable energy. He excels as a Culture Architect, driving successful business and program development in PV, ESS, EAAS, and Grid Services markets. Kris has managed community engagement with industry stakeholders like The Department of Energy, CEC, DWP, SCE, Environment California, and Grid Alternatives.
Flint has been working in the renewable energy construction industry since 2015. At Cal Solar he is responsible for a team of estimators and interconnection specialists that help ensure project estimates consistently meet actual projects budgets and results in rare cases of change order. Flint’s depth of knowledge and understanding of the various utility companies & their utility rate structures throughout California ensures the selection of a system with the highest ROI & the shortest Permission to Operate (PTO) timelines.
