Sean has been an entrepreneur and CEO in the renewables and energy efficiency construction space since 2008. Since founding Cal Solar Inc, Sean has executed $150MM in such projects and has led the company through continuous exponential growth while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality.
Jason brings over 24 years of experience delivering diverse & large-scale projects in the construction industry to Cal Solar, where he is responsible for overseeing all facets of the fully integrated business. Jason plays a pivotal role in collaborating with stakeholders, streamlining business operations, and providing innovative solutions to unite efforts and scale the business while delivering successful outcomes for our clients and the company.
Will is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California and has been in the renewable energy construction space since 2009. Will oversees a team of 10 in-house design engineers. Under Will’s oversight, Cal Solar Inc. has overseen over 600 engineered plansets and garnered approval from over 100 AHJs in California.
Ruth has over 30 years of accounting experience, with more than 20 years in the construction industry. She specializes in financial analysis, account reconciliation, and construction accounting, bringing a strong background in optimizing financial operations. Ruth works closely with the leadership team to improve business processes, enhance financial reporting, and support Cal Solar Inc.’s growth and operational efficiency.
Flint brings a decade of experience in renewable energy construction, specializing in pre-construction and design optimization. Since 2015, he has led estimating and interconnection teams, guaranteeing budget alignment and the creation of highly cost-effective renewable systems. His comprehensive knowledge of utility companies and their rate schedules is critical for maximizing client ROI while securing rapid utility Permission to Operate (PTO).
Andrew leads the Commercial Team bringing over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. He has originated and developed over 200MW of operational solar PV assets across the continent in the commercial and utility-scale segments. He began his energy career as a policy analyst with the California Public Utilities Commission and Southern California Edison, from there he developed solar projects at Solar Reserve and NRG Energy, and most recently led rooftop community solar project development for Solar Landscape. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Ian is a dynamic, results-driven leader, leveraging over 25 years of extensive industry experience to oversee the entire construction division. With a proven track record in team development, strategic management, and process optimization, he is dedicated to standardizing best practices and driving operational excellence across all projects. Ian’s comprehensive expertise in Quality Control (QC) is crucial for ensuring that we maintain high-end quality and consistently deliver superior results for our clients.
Cam began his renewable energy career in 2005. His deep operational expertise comes from extensive hands-on experience, having personally managed nearly every role in the project lifecycle. This boots-on-the-ground knowledge provides a unique ability to find real-time resolutions for complex technical and strategic issues. This broad background, focused on rigorous feasibility analysis and value engineering, empowers him to lead the team in properly scoping projects for seamless execution.
